ART QUILTS LOWELL 2010 is a juried exhibition, organized by the Brush Art Gallery, to identify and encourage quilt artists. The exhibition will include art quilts from artists throughout the United States and Canada. The exhibition will provide an overview of some of the finest quilts being produced; it is a feature of the 2010 Lowell Quilt Festival August 12 - 14.
ELIGIBILITY: Artists who are residents of the United States or Canada
METHOD OF SELECTION: Digital images on CD only (no slides or photographs)
JURORS: Jeanne Williamson Ostroff and Linda Levin.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Artists may submit up to three entries. A $35 non-refundable fee made out to the Brush Art Gallery is required with entries.

INSURANCE AND SALES: All quilts will be for sale, unless otherwise specified. The Brush takes a 40% commission on quilts sold. The Brush insures all quilts on loan while they are at the Gallery.
PHOTOGRAPHY: The Brush Gallery reserves the right to photograph quilts, and use photos of exhibited quilts for the purposes of documentation, education, and publicity. CDs will be returned to all artists except those chosen for the exhibition.
LOAN AGREEMENT: The Brush Gallery will e-mail a loan agreement form to all artists whose work has been accepted for the exhibition.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Artists are responsible for delivery (and insurance) of work in transit to and from the Brush Gallery. Accepted quilts may be hand-delivered or shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS. If shipped, you MUST include a pre-paid return shipping label with your quilt(s). We cannot accept credit card numbers, checks for shipping or your UPS/FedEx account number. We cannot return shipped quilts that do not include a pre-paid return shipping label.
DIRECTIONS: Route 3 N or S, or from I-495 N or S, take Lowell Connector to Thorndike Street (Exit 5B). Go to the fifth traffic light, just past the American Textile History Museum on left, turn right into the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Parking lot.
