Going to the Dogs Exhibition
Opening reception: April 13, 2-4 PM.
Artwork and fine crafts centering on dogs. This exhibition, which runs from April 13 - June 15, 2008, is a collaborative effort between the Brush Art Gallery and Greyhound Welfare. The Brush will be hosting fundraisers in conjunction with the exhibition, the proceeds of which will be shared with Greyhound Welfare.

Location: Visitor Center Courtyard adjacent to the Brush Art Gallery
Meet, draw, photograph, pet and adopt a greyhound. These beautiful creatures will be visiting the Brush Gallery with their foster parents. Learn all about them, their different personalities and their care.

Greyhound Welfare is a greyhound rescue and placement group. We place ex-racing greyhounds throughout Washington DC and the northeast. Our goal is to make excellent placements, even if that means fewer placements. Greyhound Welfare is staffed entirely of unpaid volunteers dedicated to the welfare of greyhounds.
The Brush Art Gallery & Studios is a non-profit organization. Founded in 1982 by the Lowell Historic Preservation Commission, U.S. Department of the Interior and modeled after the Torpedo factory art complex in Alexandria, Virginia, the Brush is a dynamic and inviting place. Our mission has remained the same: to nurture the working artist; to keep the visual arts alive and healthy in the heart of Lowell's historic district; to demonstrate through exhibitions and cultural programming the diverse and rich heritage that exists in Lowell; and to make Lowell a destination for viewing some of the finest art being produced in New England and beyond.
